Happy Hounds began with a simple, deeply personal mission - giving my dogs the best life possible. I’m Emma Kaye, a devoted dog mom to four incredible rescues (aka the Kaye Kids), and like you, my dogs are my world. Their wagging tails, their boundless love, their presence in every moment of my life — I wanted to do everything in my power to keep them healthy, happy, and by my side for as long as possible.

That love led me to create Happy Hounds, a brand rooted in well-being, sustainability, and the belief that our dogs deserve real, nourishing food made with integrity. Every ingredient is intentionally selected — not just for optimal nutrition, but with a deep respect for the planet. We work with micro-farmers and artisanal fishers, choosing ethically sourced, pasture-raised proteins and organic vegetables to ensure every bowl is filled with the best nature has to offer.

Happy Hounds is more than just what’s in the bowl. Our philosophy is built on a simple truth: dogs thrive when they’re well-fed, well-exercised, and deeply loved. That’s why our mission has expanded - to support every part of a dog’s well-being, from nutrition to movement and connection. We’ve started by introducing thoughtfully designed gear to support a life of movement, adventure, and joyful connection - with more to come.
