Step by step
Takes about 2 minutes, here's exactly what to do.
You'll need an account to subscribe. Register here, it only takes a moment. You'll use this account later to log in and manage your subscription whenever you need to skip, pause, edit or make changes.
On each product page, select Subscribe & Save. For each product, choose your quantity, size and packaging, then pick your shipping frequency: every 1, 2 or 4 weeks.
Select delivery (R92, Cape Town & surrounds) or free collection from 131 Sir Lowry Road, Foreshore, Cape Town, 8001.
Your first order is charged immediately at checkout, just like a regular purchase. This kicks off your subscription and gets your food on its way.
Before each new charge, we send you an email heads-up. Use that window to skip, edit, or pause before your card is charged.
How payment works
When you complete your first order, your card is charged immediately, just like any online purchase.
Based on your chosen frequency, your saved card is charged automatically and your order is packed fresh.
We send an "Upcoming Order" email before every renewal so you have time to skip, edit, or pause before your card is charged.
Your card details aren't stored on the Happy Hounds website â they're securely processed by Paystack, our trusted payment partner.
Heads up: Your subscription renews on a rolling cycle based on your chosen frequency â weekly, every 2 weeks, or every 4 weeks â rather than on a fixed calendar date. This keeps your pup's supply consistent. You can always check your next renewal date on your subscription dashboard.
What you can do
Make any of these changes from your subscription dashboard.
To add: Click on Subscriptions â "Manage subscription" â "Add items to order" â search for the product â select subscription or once-off â click "Add" then "Done."
To remove: Click on Subscriptions â "Manage subscription" â click "Manage" next to your items â click the bin icon â confirm "Remove."
Click "Orders", then click "Skip", this will skip your next subscription order. A pop-up will ask you to confirm; click "Confirm" if you're sure.
Click "Orders" then click "Reschedule." A pop-up lets you select how far to push out the order, or choose a custom date. Click "Reschedule" once you've selected your preferred option.
Go to Orders â click "Pay and process now." A pop-up will ask you to confirm and show your next payment date. Click "Process now" to proceed.
Go to Subscriptions â "Manage subscription" â click the pen icon next to your frequency â click the dropdown and select your preferred frequency. Tick the checkbox to acknowledge your card will be debited according to your new payment cycle.
Go to Subscriptions â "Manage subscription" â click the pen icon next to your shipping option â click the dropdown and select your preferred shipping method.
Go to Subscriptions â "Manage subscription" â click "Pause." A pop-up will ask you to confirm, click "Pause."
Go to Subscriptions â "Manage subscription" â click "Resume." A pop-up will ask you to confirm, click "Resume." Please note your next order will be processed immediately.
Go to Subscriptions â "Manage subscription" â click the pen icon next to your card details â fill in your new card details â click "Pay ZAR 1." A R1 fee will be deducted to authenticate the transaction, this R1 will be refunded.

Most cancellations have a quick fix. Select the option below that fits your situation:
If you still want to cancel: log into your dashboard â select your subscription â click "Cancel." Any order already charged will still be delivered.

Simply skip it, click "Orders" then "Skip" before your renewal date. Your subscription stays active and resumes on the following cycle with no charge.
Absolutely, and we'd recommend it if you're going away, have a stockpile, or just need a breather. Pausing keeps all your settings intact so you don't have to set everything up again. Go to Subscriptions â Manage subscription â Pause.
We'll email you to let you know and give you time to update your payment details. Go to Subscriptions â Manage subscription â click the pen icon next to your card details. Your subscription won't be cancelled, we'll retry once your new card details are saved.
Log into your account, go to your subscription dashboard, select your active subscription, and click "Cancel." If your next order has already been charged, it will still be delivered. We'll confirm your cancellation by email.
